The error/warning for pagination (subpages of archives) or numerous paginated pages in Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools) may have appeared if you utilized Google Webmaster Tools or an early version of Google Search Console.
The title of your WordPress Website plays a very vital role in getting you a better ranking and traffic on the search engines.
A unique and detailed title for your post is often required by Google in order to stand out from the public. And this provides your website to get better traffic from all the search engines.
I recently discovered that my sites have duplicate title tags on indexed pages while searching in Google Webmaster Tools.

How To Check Duplicate Title Tags in WordPress
It is possible to check in Google Webmaster Tool to see if your website has duplicate meta descriptions and title tags. To do so, log into your Google Webmaster Tools account and navigate to Coverage and then select the Excluded check box.
Then in the list, as shown in the above image you can see that for your website it may appear that duplicate Title Tags. And you can check which URLs are having these duplicate title tag issues by selecting the duplicate title tags list button.
How To Remove Duplicate Title Tags From WordPress
To remove the duplicate title tags you need to install an SEO plugin either Yoast or RankMath, both these plugins offer you to remove the duplicate title tags and allow your pages to appear different in the eyes of Google so that they can be indexed properly.
As shown in the above code, Go to Titles and Meta Tag on the Rank Math plugin page from your WordPress dashboard, and then make sure that at least you have %title% mentioned in the single post title.
This will ensure that whatever your main post title that should be your title tags. And this will remove any duplicate title tags if present across your website.
Also, you need to make sure that your RankMath plugin settings are as per the recommendation given by RankMath itself. Follow their website to make sure you have all the settings completed properly and saved.
Upon fixing the RankMath setting you should not face any duplicate title tags message on your search console either on Google or Bing.
If you are facing duplicate title tags for your homepage then you need to make sure that the homepage has %page% present in the homepage title of the RankMath plugin.
If you are using a static homepage then this option will be disabled for you and you need to edit the required homepage and add the title and meta tags as per your requirement to the RankMath[1] plugin tool that is displayed on the right side of the block editor.
